That is a big question and one which is difficult to answer in a short blog. We know people won't read a long blog, so I'm going to tackle the question from a different angle. Many of our customers hold back from calling us to place an order or request a quote to supply a certain product until they have decided what product they want to promote their business. When they do finally ask for a quote, often the product is not really suited to achieving the desired result or outcome. This is understandable given they are not in the business of promoting their business but instead selling other products or services to their target market. The solution is simple. When a business identifies a need that requires a marketing program to promote a product, a service or their brand, our advice is call the experts to discuss. At Non Stop Adz this advice is free. We will listen to understand the problem or challenge before recommending a solution and the costs involved. This removes the stress of having to work it all out on their own and risk getting it wrong or spending too much.
The answer is of course, the extremely popular stubby cooler aka stubby holder. It's an Australian icon that's been around for years and everyone loves to use them. It's this popularity that makes the stubby cooler such a great advertising vehicle and when combined with the low cost, makes it an excellent choice for business owners wanting to get their brand out there. The Green Beacon is a multi award winning craft beer brewery in Brisbane. They recently chose stubby coolers for a promotion to help sell cartons of beer. With a branded stubby cooler to match each type of beer, customers would receive a stubby holder to match their favourite beer, This helped to build loyalty to the product and the brand.
It's natural to want to give a valued client a small gift at the end of the year to say thank you for your business and support. It also fits nicely with the spirit of giving at Christmas and makes you feel good. And I'm confident that all customers and clients will feel good about being recognised and thanked.
If we agree giving is good, the next question is how much do you spend? That will be influenced by several factors. The first is how valuable do you consider your client to be, or put it another way, how much has your business benefitted from your client's support during the year? The second is what expectations do you have of your client's ongoing support next year and beyond and how valuable is that likely to be to your business? The third is what can you afford to spend, especially if you have many valued clients you want to recognise. The profitability of the products you sell will play a big part, as will the number of repeat orders you expect during the year. It's worth remembering it's not the value of the gift that matters, but the fact you have decided to recognise your client by saying thank you with a small gift. And let's not forget the feel good factor. The images below are of the new Miami Picnic Cooler that makes an excellent gift when branded with your logo and stuffed full of goodies for your client to enjoy on their next picnic during the long hot months of summer. |
